Catawba Heights Church will have homecoming Sunday, September 23rd. Everyone is welcome. The church is located on Miller Avenue, just off State Street.
Mt. Zion AME Zion Church, 75 Zion Road, Marion will have Homecoming Sunday, September 23rd. Lunch will be served following the 11 o’clock service. The speaker for the 3pm service will be Rev. Keith Lipsey, pastor of New Bethel AME Zion Church in Forest City. Everyone is cordially invited.
Harvest Day will be held Saturday, October 6th at Mt. Calvary FWB Church, 86 Brushy Creek Rd., in Spruce Pine. Breakfast is 7am to 10am and lunch/dinner is 11:30 until. Vendors will be selling handmade crafts and other items. There will be games and activities for children.

The Pray;ze 13th Anniversary, scheduled for Sunday, September 16th has been rescheduled for Sunday, September 30th at 3 PM, due to the forecasted weather this weekend.
Old Fort Community Chorus has started rehearsals for their Christmas 2018. Rehearsals
are at Greenlee Baptist Church on Tuesday evenings from 7-9. The Christmas concerts will be Saturday, December 1 at 7:00 pm and Sunday, December 2 at 3:00 pm at Greenlee Baptist on Highway 70 West. Grace Baptist Church on Shady Lane is again sponsoring the AWANA program for youth on Wednesdays from 6:45 PM until 8:15 PM. Everyone is invited. For questions or more information contact Paul Robertson at 652-9581 or 442-8893.
Old Time Mountain Church will be setup behind Carter Bank and Trust on Carbon City Rd in Morganton from 10am until 1pm. "Barbara Lowman Music" will be singing throughout the event. All Free of charge donations accepted. Clothing and hot food will be given out to those in need...will have some food bags while they last.
